The Emirate of Makkah has begun the Registration for Permits for those who wish to serve Iftar in Masjid Al Haram, Makkah during Ramadan this year.
The Emirate on its website has stated that the registration is for permits for serving Iftar
inside the Haram, its courtyards, and various other neighborhoods of Makkah
After the pandemic began
last year the serving of Iftar in the Haramain Sharifain was stopped for
Ramadan and the usual Sunnah fasting days as a precautionary measure.
The Emirate has also
stated that ‘the granting of permits will be subject to the authorities who
will determine the available numbers and the distribution mechanism’, the
notice said
