Sheikh Muhammad Ayub was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in the year 1952.
After completing his primary education he moved to Madinah, where he perused his higher Education. He had a Bachelor’s Degree in Sharia Law from the University of Madinah and a Master’s Degree in Tafsir and Quranic Sciences. He received a Ph.D. Degree in the same field.
In Late 1990, he was appointed as the Imam of Masjid Al Nabawi and he led Salah in the Mosque on a daily basis until the year 1997. He was then continuously invited to be a guest imam to lead Taraweeh in the Month of Ramadan. He led his Last Taraweeh in Masjid Al Nabawi in the year 2015.
He Led his Last Salah (Isha) in Masjid Al Taufee on 15th April 2016. He died before Fajar Salah the following Day. He has been buried in Jannat Al Baqi Cemetery after Dhur Salah on 15th April 2016
