Jumu’ah Khutbah Summary from Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Bari Al Thubaity

Topic: ‘Adornment Etiquettes in Islam’

And the most beautiful of all creation is mankind that Allah has beautified with beauty and fashioned him in best of form and character, thus, He made the beauty of man within him and attributes and characteristics, Allah the Most High says (( 7 ) Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? ( 8 ) In whatever form He willed has He assembled you)

Adornment is an enjoyment and a blessing and a natural instinct. Allah the Most High says (14 ) Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire -of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.)

Here lies the greatness of this religion that answers the needs of mankind, and caters to the need of natural disposition, as Allah blessed his creation to enjoy what He has lawfully adorned for his servants. Allah the Most High ( 32 ) Say, “Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of Adornment is an enjoyment and a blessing and a natural instinct. Allah the Most High says (14 ) Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire – of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land.
