RIYADH: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s central committee is finalizing plans for the Hajj season of the coming year 1444 (2022) for domestic pilgrims
The Ministry’s central committee has reportedly agreed on a ‘complete normalcy policy’ which will be implemented in stages according to Okaz
Among them would be 25% reserved quota for Hujjaj above the ages of 65 years who were unable to attend Hajj the previous two years due to precautionary measures in place.
The Ministry will also introduce a new Economic package aimed at people with low income and also introducing a new payment method which will allow people to pay their dues in two installments.
The Ministry is also expected to begin registration of local Hujjaj as early as Safar 1444.
