Hujjaj to arrive in Makkah on Friday

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stipulated that those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for this year and were issued a permit t must adhere to the home quarantine for a period of 7 days before leaving to Mecca, starting from 27 Dhul Qadah (18 July) until the 3rd Dhul al-Hijjah according to the instructions of the Ministry the Health.

The Ministry of Health also began communicating with the candidates, and visited their homes for medical examination, and provided vaccination against fever and seasonal influenza, and installed pilgrims with a “safe” smart bracelet.

After the arrival of the pilgrims wishing to perform the pilgrimage to Makkah, all pilgrims will be subjected to quarantine for a period of 4 days starting from the dawn of 4th of Dhul Hijjah until the dawn of 8th Dhul Hijjah, and the last date to enter Quarantine will be before Dhur Prayer on 4th Dhul Hijjah.

All pilgrims will enter state of ihram in Taif from the Miqat Qarn al-Manazil on 8th Dhul Hijjah and after medical satisfaction is insured, they will then go to their designated residences in Mina towers.
The final Hajj list will be approved after passing the last medical survey and obtaining the approval of the competent authorities.

In turn, the ministry asked all pilgrims to obtain the national address so that the Hajj bags are dispatched containing medical ihram, a procedural guide for the Hajj program, the Hajj description booklet, a small document bag, and another bag containing personal care tools and sterilizers, gravel bags, a booklet, and a gift, were sent. A third bag contains carpet, canopy, pebble gravel, shoe and phone charger, and a secondary Ihram.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also assigned a supervisor for every 20 pilgrims, and a bus dedicated to them throughout the Hajj period, and created a group in the “WhatsApp” application to communicate, serve them and send instructions and respond to inquiries.
