MAKKAH – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Friday said, that over 10 million Pilgrims have performed Umrah since its resumption last October.
The Ministry quoting the Deputy Hajj Minister said : “Thankfully, 10 million pilgrims have been able to perform Umrah since the launch of the safe Umrah model within an integrated system of the competent authorities, and we seek, in coordination with the competent authorities, to gradually enable 3.5 million Umrah pilgrims per month, while ensuring the application of precautionary and health measures to be a safe Umrah, God willing.”

Earlier the Ministry said that it issued 6000 Umrah Visas to Foreign Pilgrims in Muharram and it expected an ”influx” of Pilgrims from Abroad starting Rabi Al Awwal.
