No Quarantine for Tourist Visa Holders prior to Umrah

The Ministry of Tourism has announced that those holding Tourist Visa do not require to quarantine after arriving in the Kingdom as long as they are completely vaccinated

All travelers arriving in the country with a valid tourism visa must show proof of a full course of one of the four currently approved vaccines: two doses of the Oxford/Astra Zeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech, or Moderna vaccines, or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Guests who have finished two doses of the Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccines and have obtained an additional dosage of one of the four vaccines allowed in the Kingdom will be accepted.

The individual must book permits for prayers and Umrah on the ‘Eatmarna App’ and their status must show as ‘Immune’ on the Tawakalana Application

Saudi Arabia has set up a web platform for tourists to register their vaccination status at https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home. The website is offered in two languages: Arabic and English.

Travelers arriving in Saudi Arabia must additionally present a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure, as well as an approved paper vaccination certificate validated by the issuing country’s official health authority.

All visitors entering on a previously obtained tourism visa must pay an extra cost of SAR 40 at the airport of their arrival to provide insurance for any COVID-19-related medical bills.
