Saudi Arabia to host unprecedented urgent OIC meeting to discuss Palestine on Wednesday

JEDDAH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has called the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to meet on Wednesday to discuss the serious escalation between Gaza and the Occupational Forces in Occupied Palestine.

The OIC in a statement said that the meeting will be held at the ministerial level at the secretariat of the OIC in Jeddah on Wednesday, 18 October 2023. Foreign Ministers of all 57 Muslim countries are expected to attend what OIC has described being an “extraordinary session”.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia on Friday condemned and rejected the Occupation’s attempt to displace the Palestinians in Gaza and demanded the free movement of humanitarian aid to the strip.

As of Saturday, more than 2,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 8,000 have been injured by the occupational force’s air strikes on the Gaza Strip after the regime staioned in Occupied Palestine declared war on Hamas.
