MAKKAH: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah ended the controversy surrounding entry of children in the Two Holy Mosques on Friday.
A spokesperson for the Ministry said that all children (irrespective of vaccination) can accompany families visiting the Two Holy Mosques. The Spokesperson however said that for Umrah an individual is required to be 5 and above. However several families reported that security authorities in the Grand Mosque didn’t stop children from accompanying them in the Mataaf

Earlier this week the Ministry of Interior lifted all COVID-19 related health precautionary measures and the Ministry of Health also ended the daily reporting of the COVID-19 cases.
