Hajj Ministry steps in to assist Hujjaj troubled by Motawif

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that it is stepping in to provide a “package of urgent solutions” to solve challenges being faced by Hujjaj who have used the Motawif Platform to book their Hajj.

In the statement, the Ministry said it was cooperating with relevant authorities to “secure alternative flights and additional seats”

The Ministry also said that it will “ensure that every pilgrim who has been chosen for this year’s Hajj has to opportunity to perform Hajj and visit the Holy Sites”.

A well-placed source in the Hajj Ministry told Inside the Haramain earlier that “the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is deploying manpower on the ground to assist the external company Motawif”, the source also said that “the Hujjaj can now approach the Hajj Ministry directly with its complaints”

This comes weeks after applicants using the Motawif Platform raised complaints regarding the platform’s incompetency and appealed to the Hajj Ministry to intervene.
