International Umrah to resume from Muharram 1st

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the resumption of receiving International Pilgrims for Umrah beginning from Muharram 1st, 1443.

Only those who have been completely vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Saudi-approved Vaccines can arrive in the Kingdom for performing Umrah rituals from everywhere except countries were from where direct flights have been currently suspended by the Ministry of Interior.

All visitors arriving in the country w must provide evidence of a full course of one the four vaccines currently recognized: two doses of the Oxford/Astra Zeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccines or a single dose of the vaccine produced by Johnson and Johnson. 

Those who have completed two doses of the Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccines will be accepted if they have received an additional dose of one of the four vaccines approved in the Kingdom.

According to the Ministry, the previously announced rules would still be applied with some changes such as the compulsion of arriving in the Kingdom via an approved and accredited Umrah agency in groups and not individually and the condition of the pilgrim to be above the age of 18 years.
