Sheikh Ahmad Hudaify and Sheikh Khalid Muhanna relieved as Imams of Masjid An Nabawi

Sheikh Ahmad Hudaify and Sheikh Khalid Muhanna have been excused as Imam and Khateebs of Masjid An Nabawi after the expiration of their 4-year contract with the General Presidency.

The Imams were appointed in 2019 along with Sheikh Yasir Ad Dawsary in Masjid Al Haram by Royal Decree.

Inside the Haramain revealed earlier that Sheikh Yasir Ad Dawsary and at least 2 Imams were excused from leading in the Two Holy Mosques following the expiration of their 4-year contracts with the Department of Imams and Muadhin in the General Presidency for the Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.

Sources on Saturday revealed that all 3 imams were relieved from their duties in September however they may be re-appointed as guest Imams in the Two Holy Mosques for Ramadan.

The General Presidency for the Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has neither confirmed nor denied the reports however it is pertinent to note that the Presidency has in the past not commented on previous dismissals of Sheikh Saud Ash Shuraim last year which Inside the Haramain revealed earlier this year.
