The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Haramain announced the Appointment of Khateebs in Masjid Al Haram a few days ago.
Sheikh Maher bin Hamad Al Muaiqly and Sheikh Faisal Gazzawi have been appointed to deliver Jummuah Sermons while Sheikh Bandar Baleelah and Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al Juhany have been appointed as Imams and Khateebs of the Istisqa Prayer ( Rain Seeking Prayers).
Also there are rumors that Sheikh Yasir Al Dossary has been Appointed as a permanent Imam at Masjid Al Haram, which is yet to be confirmed by the Presidency
